Worked a solid six hours on this sleeve today, fun stuff! Been a while since I got do a really big skull.

This is how this piece looks now. Got another go petty soon, hope to finish it then, and then one more session for touch ups.

thought i should post this aswell, did a second pass on this last week.
still got some stuff to do to tighten things up and add some contrast, aswell as finish the background and stuff.
i really enjoyed this tattoo, can't wait to get it done.

so we got to do some more work on this sleeve, great fun and can't wait to get it finished.
got my new re-built machine motor from lundberg-custom.com in time for this session and it ran like it should. thanks for that!

so we did about 18h on this backpiece this week, had a great time and look forward to next session(s).
and i also managed to wreck one of my machines during this mayhem, apparently the stigma fly is not made to operate at the same speed as me..

got some more background work to put in there, but atleast we got most of the lines down.

First weeks of Buzzstop 28!

so i've kept busy this summer with all kinds of projects, including switching shops and moving my business  to gothenburg to work with the awesome crew at Buzzstop 28.

but now i'm back, posting more frequently again so hope you'll stay tuned!

 

I did some tattoos this week!

so this week I got some work photographed, finished up some masks i started some two weeks ago and then i started two larger project one with this nun which is going to be basically a hole leg sleeve but with some older stuff that is going to be worked around and some covered.
also I started this rib piece on an old friend with the captain redbeard! fun stuff!

back in busyness

so i got this done this week.
got the nathan ota tribute tattoo finished and managed to get a pretty crappy picture of it.
hope to get better ones once it's healed. if you haven't you need to check out nathan ota's work, he's and incredible artist!

i also got to start the long anticipated giant squid piece, was super fun and can't wait til the next session where the ship and everything above water level will be added.

at it again

today i did some neo traditional stuff which i don't do very often, fun stuff though a handgranade on the throat, still more work to go.

also i'm posting a crappy photo of a nice tattoo i did earlier this week of a bird who's afraid of heights.
hope to get healed photos of this tattoo within the next month or so.

ugglor i mossen.

so today i got to do a few more hours on this piece, i think it's coming along great and hope to get it finished in a month. still some darker colors and some touching in a few blends between the brown and blue to do, but it's gonna be fun!

norrköping. tattoo convention.

this weekend i was attending the tattoo convention in norrköping, sweden.
got to start a super fun piece on the neck here, and got to continue on a few pieces that i've started before and got the final touch on the snail chestpiece.
all in all i'm very happy about the convention and grateful for the clientele i've attracted.
thanx all you guys for showing up with such a positive attitude!

so here's what i got to do today, a super fun piece. it's the second owl i've ever got to do an the fist one was several years ago so i was looking forward to this.

it's done using all rotarys, stigma machines for lines and the hawk for color.

gonna have one more go at it pretty soon, hope to be able to finish it then.

so i got to do the character Caliban from the movie "resan till melonia", fun stuff!
my old buddy matte sat like a true hardcore tough guy and didn't even cry a little!

so now i'm back in karlstad after copenhagen ink festival. had a great time and got some painting done on a skateboard aswell as some good tattooing.
