so we had a moment to spare and got some work done on this baby. sweet life.

been working on this backpiece for the last two days, fun stuff.
got some more background work to put in there, but atleast we got most of the lines down.

First weeks of Buzzstop 28!

so i've kept busy this summer with all kinds of projects, including switching shops and moving my business  to gothenburg to work with the awesome crew at Buzzstop 28.

but now i'm back, posting more frequently again so hope you'll stay tuned!

 

I did some tattoos this week!

so this week I got some work photographed, finished up some masks i started some two weeks ago and then i started two larger project one with this nun which is going to be basically a hole leg sleeve but with some older stuff that is going to be worked around and some covered.
also I started this rib piece on an old friend with the captain redbeard! fun stuff!

back in busyness

so i got this done this week.
got the nathan ota tribute tattoo finished and managed to get a pretty crappy picture of it.

i also got to start the long anticipated giant squid piece, was super fun and can't wait til the next session where the ship and everything above water level will be added.

at it again

today i did some neo traditional stuff which i don't do very often, fun stuff though a handgranade on the throat, still more work to go.

also i'm posting a crappy photo of a nice tattoo i did earlier this week of a bird who's afraid of heights.
hope to get healed photos of this tattoo within the next month or so.

ugglor i mossen.

so today i got to do a few more hours on this piece, i think it's coming along great and hope to get it finished in a month. still some darker colors and some touching in a few blends between the brown and blue to do, but it's gonna be fun!

norrköping. tattoo convention.

this weekend i was attending the tattoo convention in norrköping, sweden.
got to start a super fun piece on the neck here, and got to continue on a few pieces that i've started before and got the final touch on the snail chestpiece.
all in all i'm very happy about the convention and grateful for the clientele i've attracted.
thanx all you guys for showing up with such a positive attitude!

so here's what i got to do today, a super fun piece. it's the second owl i've ever got to do an the fist one was several years ago so i was looking forward to this.

it's done using all rotarys, stigma machines for lines and the hawk for color.

tried to put my own touch on the awesomest of awesome robots, R2D2 and C3PO.

gonna have one more go at it pretty soon, hope to be able to finish it then.

a tribute for both my client and myself.
it's also a cover-up.

so i got to do the character Caliban from the movie "resan till melonia", fun stuff!
my old buddy matte sat like a true hardcore tough guy and didn't even cry a little!

so now i'm back in karlstad after copenhagen ink festival. had a great time and got some painting done on a skateboard aswell as some good tattooing.
here's a sneakpeak of a foot i did, while it is almost done i still have some stuff to add on a second pass.

here's definitely one of my favorite projects in a while. doesn't really show through in the small pics i've posted but if you click the image here you can see it in all it's glory.

hope to get some healed photos later, but this will have to do for now.

so last week i got to work on this beauty, did some background with a graveyard theme.

will be getting the sky and doing some chest action in there soon.

who let the dog out

so today i had a visit from a good friend whom i've known for most of my life.
had a good session on her leg to get this done, still have one more session to tighten in up and put the last touch on it. but i think it looks pretty good so far.

forget me not.

today i dropped off a one shot piece at work. some flowers. drilled it out in about 5 hours.
eternal inks and the cheyenne hawk.

bad to the bone.

so here's some of what i did this week. got lots to do still on both these pieces but i look forward to it.

got a good 6 hours done on the ribs and got most of the background in there, and drilled for four hours on the head of fellow tattooer lars to block in most of the colors on his head. 

will get in there and do some more detailing but wanted a solid ground to work on.

the picture of his head are in a weird angle, which is hard not to get when you take a picture of a head, it's also 4 days old on the picture. will get better photos of this when we finish it within the next month.

zombies!

so i've been working on a sleeve that i started about 2,5 years ago today. been super fun and hope to get the last session done in a few weeks. 

here there be monsters!

so here i am working at Don't worry mama in västerås and i'm doing all monsters! everyday!
so today i got to start a sleeve on an old project and we'll be doing a large alien monster that even the men in black would be scared of.

on the sleeve to the right i used a swashdrive and the stigma hyper v2 to do the outlines, first time i've used either of these machines and i must say i was pleasantly surprised, worked the stigma with a 5 liner from lundberg custom supply and the swashdrive with a 14 liner from the same company.
didn't get to do all that many lines with the swashdrive, since most of it is background to the guy at the bottom i used thinner lines for most of it.

sooo, i've been a bit slow on this thing lately. but i can assure you i've been busy, working on some awesome new sketches and thingamajiggers for artshows and book projects and other super interesting things of grave importance for future generations.

so this is what i had my hands on today, and yesterday i did a "thumbnail" for a pirate pin-upish girl.
it ended up being kinda big, but fun. will continue that piece tomorrow.
since it's been forever since i drew a girl i'm taking it slow.
